One Summer Street

The shell of this turn-of-last-century church was hollowed out, the basement excavated to create underground parking, and new floor decks were framed to make seven condominium residences.  Some spaces are 3+ levels and over 45 feet in height.  Structural challenges included upgrading the building for seismic forces and restroing the connections and chord members of original timber roof trusses.
