The Prenatt Music Center at the Belmont Hill School contains wonderful performance and rehersal spaces. The acoustical engineer recommended minimizing right angles within these spaces to help fine-tune the reflectivity of sound. Also, assymetrical hips and vaulted ceilings meant that the external and internal hips did not align. The dimensional challenges and architectural coordination effort resulting from these needs were significant. Regardless, we nailed it and the steel erector noted that every piece of steel fit togther perfectly, the first time.
